[-] very fun. kind of hard to swing where I want. I often aim for a building in front of me but hook onto something behind me and it throws me off course

[-] thanks for trying it - yeah i might update the distance logic to be forward facing only, good point

Fun.
For all people with VR headsets I'd strongly recommend the game Windlands 2. It's an awesome swinging game. The default settings are more "grapple hook" than swing, but it can be changed.

[-] Haha this is fun, man, well done. As someone who's never been to NYC, how accurate is this, the buildings and streets?
▲ shahahmed 2 hours ago
[-] the blocks and building scales are accurate - based on OpenNYC, but the building styles / shapes are generic

[-] Is it possible to swing smoothly like the spiderman movies? Every swing seems to slam me into a building immediately, then start actually swinging.
▲ shahahmed 29 minutes ago
[-] it's possible, takes a bit of finesse. i might add an auto-swing to make it easier. you can also jump to shift momentum aggressively

Very cool, great job! Would love to know the stack and how the building data was processed to create these models.

[-] I'm not oriented, but am puzzled by the diagonal avenue - it's like a mirrored Broadway?
▲ shahahmed 2 hours ago
[-] uh oh, is it reversed!! i will fix

[-] That was pretty fun actually. Very thoughtful snapping to the nearest possible building to ensure you never end up falling into the nether.
▲ shahahmed 3 hours ago
[-] really helped to add the signifier of which building would be snapped. glad you enjoyed it!
